Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Scan Page app. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
Licence
Scan Page is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and that agreement differ, that agreement governs your relationship with Apple and these terms govern your relationship with us.
What you can do
You may use the app to scan, organise and export your own documents, or documents you have the right to copy. You are responsible for what you scan. Do not use the app to copy material you are not permitted to copy, or for any unlawful purpose.
Subscription
- Scanning is free. A Scan Page Pro subscription is required to open, export and share the documents you scan.
- The price, billing period and any introductory offer are shown in the app before you subscribe, and are charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the standard price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.
- Introductory offers are available once per Apple Account. If you have used one before, you will be shown and charged the standard price.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Your documents
Your documents are yours. We claim no rights over anything you scan. They are stored only on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy, and you are responsible for backing them up. If you delete the app, its documents are deleted with it.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. Automatic edge detection, perspective correction and filters are best-effort and may not be perfect on every page. Check any scan you rely on. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for loss of data or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be signposted in the app or by updating the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you protections that cannot be overridden.
